How to dispose of lancets?

Lancets are for single-use only. Place all used and unused lancets in an FDA-cleared sharps disposal container immediately after sample collection. Dispose of the containers according to your community guidelines.

If an FDA-cleared container is not available, use a heavy-duty plastic household container with a tight-fitting lid.
